ANIM VOX – SOUL VOICE
Born from the Latin roots of anima (soul) and vox (voice), this name perfectly encapsulates the deep connection we feel as writers navigating life’s rugged path. We pour our souls into every word, capturing the highs and lows, the pain and the joy.
Each poem, then, is a direct voice of our soul—a conduit for what we see, hear, feel, touch, taste, and smell. Through words, our souls yell, scream, or cry. We may brave the heat of metaphorical hell or float with boundless joy above the sky.
This is our emotional journey, expressed in powerful words, in melodies of language. Whether prose without rhyme or a meticulously polished song, we sculpt with words as an artist paints on canvas. Sometimes rough, sometimes smooth—a Van Gogh or a Klee—our creations are realistic, abstract, or surreal.
Ultimately, each piece is an imprint of our soul, a time capsule created in a moment of significance. It might fade with time, but it remains a testament, a factum, of our perishable lives.

About the book:
At sixty-eight, I finally did what I’d dreamed of since sixteen: I heard my words sing. This book is a hands-on, heart-first guide to turning prose and poems into lyrics—and then into songs with SUNO. I show my working: how I craft a lyric, how SUNO reads it, why certain choices land. You can listen along through the links. I also open the black box a little—how your input nudges the algorithms, what the law allows if you publish or profit, and what to watch for when you shape an AI-assisted track.
It’s a memoir too: a life traced through notebooks—from a guarded childhood between Europe and the Middle East, through the LP years of Pink Floyd, Genesis, and Alan Parsons, to a recent brush with mortality and the love songs I wrote for my wife. I never chased inspiration in a bottle or a pill. I chased it in language, rhythm, and clear thought.
I’m a writer, not a musician. SUNO supplies the instruments; the voice is mine. If you’ve ever wanted your words to become music, this book shows you how—simply, honestly, and with your rights where they belong: in your hands.
You’ll find the songs from my book here, where the progression from poem/prose to SUNO song lyrics is explained.
